With a keynote speech by Navi Radjou, an  innovation and leadership strategist based in Silicon Valley and co-author of “Jugaad Innovation: Think Frugal, Be Flexible, Generate Breakthrough Growth”

in place over 200 projects for a “greener” city.

Differing viewpoints of entrepreneurs developing novel approaches for urban areas:

• Managing rainwater 

• Simplified and optimised homes

 

The factories of tomorrow / 12 June /  9.30am-12pm

Factories and frugal innovation: faced with the constraints on industry in Europe, what will

the factories of tomorrow be like? Will they seek inspiration from the frugal innovations of emerging countries?

Differing viewpoints of manufacturers and engineers who are already preparingthe outlines for tomorrow’s factories:

• Optimising resources in industrial plants

• Industrial ecology viewed from Quebec

 

Mobility tomorrow   / 12 June /  2.30pm - 5pm

Mobility and frugal innovation: when changing constraints creates new forms of mobility,new products and/or services and new markets.

Differing viewpoints of manufacturers providing new products and services and logistics players:

• Analysing the changing nature of constraints and factoring them into product/ /service offerings

• Stating new requirements, new organisational methods, and new prospects for growth applied to goods and passenger transport
